I have now settled into the Roadside Attractions studio and gallery on Highway 62 and have been creating a large body of work that is diverse and joyful. I have learned much over my 60 years on this planet and you will see the fruits of my study and observations.
I create works that offer solutions and harmonies in a world that is often too busy for such things. That is exactly why I create art. If you are not too busy then you should stop out and experience my world that I have created.

My original pieces were functional baskets, but my work has evolved to become more sculptural. I enjoy incorporating an element to give many of my pieces a path of life. The use of the item, be it antlers, glass, driftwood, branches, or found objects encourages the freeform direction which my work has taken.
I am open to allowing the materials to influence the path as the work takes its shape and comes to life. My work is an abstract reflection of my life.
I am an artistic woodworker who designs, builds and custom finishes high end custom furniture. The wood sculptures I create are made from reclaimed woods and range in sizes from fitting in the palm of your hand small to towering up around 10’ tall large. Artistic woodworking has been with me since I was a kid. Creating art and functional furniture from a natural beautiful material is a very rewarding process from start to finish.

After graduating from Bennington College, Vermont, where she majored in sculpture, Coco Hall founded a cottage industry, which produced stuffed toys and winged baseball caps. The popular vegetables and fruits called Vegimals, have developed a cult following and her Peas in a Pod toy was featured in the 2010 movie Toy Story 3. Both Coco’s toy designing and her 20 years as an environmental and animal rights activist inform her current work in many ways, including humor and materials used such as fabric, papier mâché, and ceramic.
Today, she maintains an art studio in Joshua Tree, CA. Coco shows at the Joshua Tree Art Gallery, the EN EM Art Space in Sacramento, Ranch + Camp in 29 Palms, and has been in a variety of group shows around the US.
